You will no doubt have seen this man on social media (probably LinkedIn) and if not, maybe on stage at a gig that he's playing. Nick is the face of Thursday Video Thoughts #TVT on social media and also our online video courses. Nick has been making, directing and producing videos for 20 years (we know he doesn't look old enough) and has been running CineRobota since 2012. When you don't see him with a camera in his hand, you'll find him at gym, running, singing, gigging or playing with his 2 kitty cats. He's also a fan of the Eagles - Philadelphia Eagles that is.
Steph is the one that does the organising, producing and animating. When she's not keeping us all in check, she'll be found with her kitty cats (usually one on her shoulder miaowing at people on Zoom), in her houseplant jungle, climbing up a ridiculously high wall, or with a podcast playing in her ear whilst in a yin yoga pose. She is a self-confessed spreadsheet nerd as well as a Gardeners' World fan and can often be found feeding hedgehogs or in yoga poses on top of trig points.
Every task requires a different tool or skillset, which is why we cherry-pick from our network of talented folk from around the UK. Whether it's a world class director of photography to make a TV advert really pop, or a 3D character animator to bring an illustration to life, we’ve got a whole range of specialists at our fingertips.
If you want to motivate people to act (whether it's buying a product, donating to a good cause, or even sharing a video), it's easier if they feel an emotion first. Making people laugh, making people cry (usually in a good way), or making people angry so that they act, it's all about how we make a viewer feel when they're watching. We believe that emotions are king and that's why almost every video that we make is created to evoke an emotion in the viewer.
We specialise in tough pr complex video production projects that need project management, usually from conception until completion. Whether that's casting for actors (including animal actors!), licensing child actors, finding appropriate props or locations, or getting clearance for TV, right the way through to commissioning voiceovers and finding makeup artists, we take the stress out of the project and manage it from concept through to deliery.
Typically we find that our clients become our friends and they often are proud to refer us to their friends, family and other businesses. In essence - they become one of our raving fans.
This is largely because we are honest and transparent with people through all parts of the process, from the initial call or meeting, right through to the handover of the video (and afterwards, if they need us). Due to this, many of our clients are repeat customers, who now see us as trusted advisors for everything video related.
